Alice Cooper et Rob Zombie ont annoncé une tournée dans 19 villes en août et septembre prochains. La tournée « Freaks On Parade » débutera le 24 août au Dos Equis Pavilion de Dallas et se terminera le 24 septembre au Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre de Phoenix.
Blabbermouth rapporte que Ministry et Filter assureront la première partie de la tournée. Les billets seront en vente à partir d’aujourd’hui (3 février) à 10 heures, heure locale.
Le nouveau livre Alice Cooper @ 75, du célèbre journaliste rock Gary Graff, vient de sortir. Ce tome de 208 pages – publié juste avant le 75e anniversaire d’Alice ce samedi 4 février – comprend 350 photos couleur et noir et blanc et se vend – vous l’aurez deviné – 75 dollars.
Graff, un compatriote de Detroit qui connaît et couvre Alice depuis des décennies, fait la lumière sur son retour dans les années 1980 et sur la façon dont il a non seulement donné le coup d’envoi à la carrière d’Alice, mais aussi revigoré l’état du heavy rock : [“What Alice saw was a changed landscape from when he had been around before and you had the hair metal scene coming up in L.A.
