Boy George &amp ; Culture Club prendront la route cet été avec des invités spéciaux, Howard Jones et Berlin, pour une tournée de 25 villes, baptisée « Letting It Go Show ». La tournée débutera le 13 juillet à l’iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre de West Palm Beach, en Floride, et sillonnera l’Amérique du Nord jusqu’au 20 août, date à laquelle elle s’achèvera au Concord Pavilion de Concord, en Californie.
La mise en vente générale des billets débutera ce vendredi 21 avril à 10 heures, heure locale, sur livenation.com.
Roy Hay, guitariste et auteur-compositeur de Culture Club, nous a expliqué ce qui pousse les fans à acheter des billets pour les concerts du groupe année après année : [“The attraction to Culture Club is that the music is so eclectic. I think that’s what draws people towards us like a magnet. And then, the people have grown up with the music and the songs are timeless. Howard Jones n’est pas étranger aux foules massives, puisqu’il a été l’un des artistes des concerts historiques de Live Aid en 1985. Il nous a dit aujourd’hui qu’il était beaucoup plus à l’aise dans les clubs et les théâtres : [“There is more contact because with the arenas they can’t get to you unless you go out. And if you go out into the. . .  Y’know, I did it a few times and it, sort of, caused a riot and that’s not good for the other people that are playing.
