Goo Goo Dolls vient de lancer une tournée d’été de 32 dates avec O.A.R. en première partie. Le groupe sera sur la route pour promouvoir son dernier album, Chaos In Bloom. La tournée d’été débutera le 24 juin au Coachman Park de Tampa, en Floride, et se terminera le 7 septembre au Yaamava’ Theater de Highland, en Californie.
Le frontman John Rzeznik a déclaré : « Je suis tellement fier de pouvoir enfin annoncer notre tournée d’été avec un groupe génial et nos amis O.A.R. Ce sera une nuit incroyable de grande musique pour tout le monde, alors soyez-y !!! ».
Rolling Stone a rapporté : « Avec cette nouvelle tournée, Goo Goo Dolls s’associera à Joe Torre Safe At Home, un organisme à but non lucratif qui fournit des services de guérison et d’éducation aux enfants qui ont survécu à la violence domestique et à la maltraitance. »
John Rzeznik nous a dit que l’un des points forts de tout spectacle est la possibilité de se connecter avec les fans originaux du groupe : [“Everybody that came up with us came just as slow. So, it was no big shock. The people that were with us in the beginning, a lot of times, if they still show up, I mean we’ll still talk to them and that just because they’ve realized that we haven’t changed that much, maybe a little more sober.
