Un nouveau mix de danse de « Say Say Say », le titre phare de Paul McCartney et Michael Jackson datant de 1983, est de retour dans les charts. Le titre officiellement approuvé et réimaginé par Kygo débute à la 16e place du classement Hot Dance/Electronic Songs de Billboard. Selon Billboard, le titre a récolté « 905 000 streams officiels et 400 téléchargements vendus aux États-Unis (entre) le 31 mars et le 6 avril ». Le remix de Kygo pour « Say Say Say » se classe également à la douzième place du classement des ventes numériques de chansons Dance/Electronic de Billboard.
« Say Say Say » était le premier single de l’album Pipes Of Peace de Paul McCartney, sorti en 1983, et a commencé à occuper la première place pendant six semaines le 10 décembre 1983.
En 1983, Paul McCartney a évoqué ses duos récents avec Michael Jackson : [“Michael originally fancied writing some stuff with me and I thought it was a good idea. So, he came over here to England and we just hung out a while and got to know each other a bit, and ended up writing two songs that are the songs that are the two on the album. And then he did his own album, Thriller, which he wrote ‘(The) Girl Is Mine,’ and so I was on that. Those were the only three things we’ve done.
