Sting a prolongé sa tournée d’automne « My Songs » en ajoutant neuf nouveaux arrêts à l’itinéraire. Le légendaire auteur-compositeur-interprète et leader de Police a ajouté de nouvelles dates à son agenda : New York, Floride, Géorgie, Texas, Oregon, Washington et Nevada.
La tournée démarre les 1er et 2 septembre au Wolf Trap de Vienna, en Virginie, et se termine le 15 octobre au Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion de The Woodlands, au Texas.
Sting nous a confié qu’étonnamment, partir en tournée dans le monde entier est à bien des égards beaucoup plus facile que de rester enfermé dans un studio d’enregistrement pendant des mois : [“Touring, I find, in some ways, relaxing because I don’t have to think very much. All the decisions are already made, and I just get up there and do my thing. It’s like being a tennis player or something. Whereas when I get into this period of trying to be creative, I have to reinvent the game from scratch. One of the, the attractions about touring is that it’s all kind of done.
