Le 25 avril, Metallica entrera dans l’histoire en publiant les 12 chansons de son nouvel album 72 Seasons sous forme de vidéos en langue des signes américaine. C’est la première fois qu’un grand groupe de rock le fait.
Blabbermouth rapporte : « En l’honneur du #NationalASLDay, Metallica s’est associé à Amber G Productions, une société d’interprétation en ASL, et à DPAN (Deaf Professional Arts Network) pour donner le coup d’envoi avec le titre de l’album. »
